The Very Reverend

Portland, ME based rock duo The Very Reverend combine weaving, fuzzy guitar and bass lines with smooth vocals and slinking glam/punk grooves, crafting honest songs that range from eerie, nocturnal heartache to trouncing, doom-disco garage rock. Formed in 2016, the band is the product of a lifelong friendship between Justin Chamberlain and Brendon Bouchard. Their deep, amplified grit is brought to the stage loudly and energetically with live members Sam Gilbert and Nate Polhemus.

The band released “Leash”, the first track off their highly anticipated debut EP, in February 2017. "Leash" was produced, recorded and mixed at The Halo Studio by Jonathan Wyman, and mastered by Adam Ayan at Gateway Mastering, with a music video produced by director and videographer Jay Brown. The band’s EP is set for release in October 2017.

"a slinkier, dirtier sonic landscape...With a cool-as-hell music video directed Jay Brown, “Leash” marks The Very Reverend as a band to watch." - Emily Burnham, Bangor Daily News
