Mozart's Sister came from Caila Thompson-Hannant striving to create without pretense or practical implication. In 2011 after playing in groups such as Shapes and Sizes, Miracle Fortress and Think About Life, Thompson-Hannant started making music on her own as a means of a more personal pursuit, drawing form from living in a world of isolated passion where submission to the things you cannot change liberated a space for inner logic and inner values. From years of creating and questioning come a few scattered songs. And then a few more came. By revealing and feeling the full breadth of life for herself, Mozart's Sister aspires to leave no listener stranded.
