Applications for the Plumtree Project Are Due Tomorrow, September 15th!


As you may know, Halifax Pop Explosion and Mirus Records have teamed up to bring you The Plumtree Project: a new program that gives eight female-identifying people access to private music lessons in either drums, guitar, bass, or keyboard, access to instruments, an improvisation workshop, a wristband for Halifax Pop Explosion and access to a jam space for two months.

The program is named after Plumtree, an all-women indie rock band that played the first Halifax Pop Explosion and has gone on inspire everything from hoards of new bands to acclaimed graphic novels.
