Andrew began his music career has a songwriter, band leader, session musician and recording engineer, working between Toronto and Hamilton Ontario. After several albums and tours, he moved to the label side of the business, where he worked across various sales and marketing positions.
Across multiple labels including PolyGram, Rounder, BMG and Sony Music, Andrew had developed a deep focus on digital distribution, eventually elevating to the position of Director of Digital Business Development and Digital Sales at Sony Music. From that position, a new opportunity was realized when he took the position of Music Partnerships at Google, based in Toronto.
Covering both YouTube Music and Google Play Music, Andrew works directly with labels, artists and management to help maximize the artist opportunities on both platforms, and to contribute to the success of Canadian artists both within Canada, and around the world.
