INFORMATION

The event will be held at Halifax Central Library on 5440 Spring Garden Road and take place on October 20th-21st. It will be a place for all those involved with the music industry to attend panels, network with each other and contribute to meaningful discussions.

Speakers from Sub Pop Records, Warp Records, Last Gang Records and many more will be in attendance! See below for the current schedule across both days and stay tuned as we announce speakers and fine-tune your experience.

These focused roundtable styled discussions put 6-8 industry professionals and artists at a table with regional, national, and international label reps to dive deeper into label issues such as contracting, streaming royalties, labels and publishing, international label relations, branding, and more.

Each day will consist of multiple topics and participants will move from table to table in a defined, scheduled environment. This opportunity provides for more in depth discussions than standard conference panels and acts as  a peer networking activity. Participants can expect to walk away with specific questions being answered, new industry contacts and a better understanding of the current opportunities and challenges facing labels today.

 All applications will be reviewed. Space is limited for this program and preference will be given to those who work with multiple artists and own/work for a label or publisher. Consideration will still be given to those who do not fit that criteria.
