We only have one spare air mattress so… The Atlantica Hotel is the official hotel of HPX, which means all the cool kids will be staying there. They’re located within walking distance of all of our venues, right by a ton of restaurants, and most importantly, they have a sweet pool. We even have special discounted rate for our festival attendees. Questions?, 1-888-810-7288.

Don’t party on an empty stomach. Lucky for you we’re a bunch of foodies here in Halifax, there’s so many restaurants and bars to talk about we’d run out of room. So we’ll direct you our Community Partners page. We’ve chosen an elite group of local businesses to show you what Halifax has to offer, along with some deals to make sure you don’t go hungry.

Halifax is magical place, and we like showing it off. Check out our City Guide for our handpicked cream of the maritime crop.

Yak it up. For the 11th year in a row we will be presenting a conference series designed to educate and inspire our music community. Halifax Pop Explosion is pleased to be donating one dollar from every festival pass and ticket sale to the organization MusiCounts. MusiCounts’ mission is to ensure that children in Canada, regardless of socioeconomic circumstances or cultural background, have access to a music program through their school.

“MusiCounts is thrilled to be Halifax Pop Explosion’s charitable beneficiary,” said Allan Reid, President & CEO CARAS / The JUNO Awards and MusiCounts. “Through this partnership we are working towards building a positive future for children and youth across Canada by ensuring they have access to music instruments. Nova Scotia has a rich musical heritage and we are proud to support it.”

The partnership underscores Halifax Pop Explosion’s ongoing commitment to giving back to the community and championing the importance of arts and culture both on a regional and national level.
